There’s a distinct atmosphere and vibe within every Tiger’s Milk restaurant – and the Pretoria branch is no different. With its industrial style interiors and edgy, retro décor – there is a tangible cheekiness about the chain of restaurants which is part of the appeal for casual diners, businessmen and women and socialites alike.
Conveniently situated just off the Lynnwood offramp in the Lynnwood Bridge centre, Tiger’s Milk Pretoria is perfectly located – providing the ideal solution for hungry theatregoers heading to the Atterbury Theatre, a suitable business lunch venue for corporate employees in the vicinity, the ideal “me time” stop off for moms en route to the retail section of Lynnwood Bridge and an alternative to hotel buffets for the residents of the nearby City Lodge.

Trevor Wolheim, CEO of holding company Life & Brand Portfolio, eloquently summarizes the establishment in a single sentence – “Tiger’s Milk is definitely edgy, a little rebellious, a place where you can simply be you… It’s unpretentious, filled with unusual stuff and topped off with great food.”
The “Kickstarters” menu filled with meze-style dishes offers the perfect way to start off any meal. Try their Mac ‘n Cheese Bacon Bombs that need no explanation and come highly recommended along with the Party Parcels, which are their version of Jalapeno Poppers. Both dishes are served with chipotle aioli or enchilada sauce and are absolutely delicious. For more substantial dishes – the Pulled Pork Tacos are crunchy, flavourful and filling, whilst for those with a serious appetite – look no further than the burger menu or a mouth-watering rib-eye steak.

As with all the other Tigers Milk establishments, there is no shortage of entertainment options on offer no matter the night of the week. With 2-for-1 burger Mondays and Taco Tuesdays through to Quiz night every Wednesday night, you can rest assured that Tiger’s Milk will be the perfect solution to any midweek or weekend social engagement. First Thursday also takes place on the first Thursday of every month and hosts various live entertainment. There is no admission fee to attend but we recommend you book your table in advance.
If Janu-worry led into Febu-worry and you’re still trying to recover from the December holiday recession, then keep an eye out on the Tigers Milk social media pages for information on their PlayDay events. These take place on the Friday immediately after payday and includes live entertainment so you can ease into the new month before the dreaded debit orders begin to make their appearance.
One point of differentiation from the other Tigers Milk establishments, is that the Pretoria Branch is a split-level and has an upstairs section with a private bar. This area can be booked out for private events for up to 250 people provided you have a minimum of 40 guests and is the perfect venue for celebrations, corporate events and hospitality.
