Dining Out

Goddess Café the Influencers’ Paradise

October 31, 2019, Author: bianca

Looking for a neat new selfie spot? The new pink café at Waterkloof Corner, Goddess Café is sure to pop up on most Pretorians’ Instagram feeds at some point.

From its marble tiles, flower walls and birdcage-bedazzled ceiling to its velvet, pink chairs and blush-coloured menus – Goddess Café has arrived and it’s clearly here to stay. By the time this issue is out, they would have already expanded with a Miss Cake bakery section and an events section, so be sure to keep an eye out.

The café’s attention to detail is impeccable with freshly squeezed juices topped with dried rose petals and a bit of sparkle and perfectly plated salads. We had the Butternut and Pomegranate Salad with added roast lamb. It comes with rocket, basil, avocado, butternut, pomegranate, goat cheese, toasted pine nuts, a crunchy onion sprinkle and omega seeds and has you feeling rejuvenated instantly. The menu caters for all with artisan all-day Naan bread with various toppings to choose from, Isabella’s (the owner’s previous restaurant brand) famous lamb sandwich, burrito wraps, Thai bowls and even an early bird business breakfast and other delectable breakfast and brunch options.

Goddess Café is the perfect spot for coffee (or rather bubbly) with the girls, birthday celebrations, a quick break from the office or a mom-and-daughter bonding session.

HP Loves: How you get welcomed with a cold glass of cucumber-infused water, how your freshly squeezed juice comes with an optional shot of ginger and how their straws are environmentally friendly.
